Careleaders Not Caregivers

CHHC supports a varied and ever-growing staff of excellent Care Leaders. Our philosophy is to provide our recipients of home care the care support they need, but lead them through their individual and personal journeys throughout their lives.

Dawn Paradiso-Hansen – Director

Under Dawn’s leadership, Compassionate Home Health Care Inc. doubled its client base in under a year once becoming Medicaid Certified under the state of Wisconsin. CHHC received their official 501c3 not-for- profit status in April 2010. She has helped the organization partner with entities in the Fox Valley, including Child Care Resource and Referral, Luther Social Services, Community Care, Lakeland Care. Fox Sib Network, Network Health, Recover Health, Fox Valley Technical College, IRIS, Willow Heart Day Care, ADRC (Aging and Disabilities Resource Center), NAMI, Riverview Gardens, Outagamie County’s W2 Program, University of Oshkosh, W2 Program Interns (provide temp work experience for those with hard skills that need to gain experience for the field they wish to get into), Helping Hands Caregivers.  Educating our community, connecting people, and organizations is part of Dawns mission.

Dawn enjoys watching her 13 year old daughter Sofia Marie compete in dance competitions, present projects at school (Kaleidoscope Academy in Appleton, WI), play board games, and spend time with their friends in the Fox Valley area. Dawn is a published Author (Social Gathering in Pursuit of the Perfect Relationship, under DMarie) and has invented, trademarked, and patented the product Kupboard Keepsakes. When she’s not working she enjoys being with her family and friends, working out, writing, gardening, and cooking. Dawn has a passion to help assist others with the resources that surround her.

Dawn’s motto in life is, Never say can’t because you always can. Just try.

Sally Carpenter-Vice President

Sally is a trained Certified Nurse’s Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse. While working in various nursing fields, Sally discovered her passion for providing personal cares for individuals in their own homes. She has been working in the Home Health Care field for the past seven years.

Sally is a single mom of two. When she is not working or being mom, you can find her swimming laps or skating with the Fox City Roller Derby League in Appleton. Sally also enjoys running,
