CHHC Receives Grants To Fund Its Work For The Community

 

CHHC has received several grants to assist it with efforts in helping the community.  These grants are an important source of income to insure all of the planned programs at CHHC can be administered.  Grants applied for and received to date include:

  • $500 Shopko Holiday Grant was given to CHHC in December 2012 and it helped provide the unused cleaning and personal care items for our clients as highlighted in the NBC Community>, this is a clinic CHHC is putting together to provide flu shoots to those who can’t afford them, don’t have a means to go get a flu shot we will come to them.
  • $5000 Capital Credit Union Charitable Giving Fund through the Community Foundation was given to CHHC in Feb 2012 for our Flu Clinic.  This clinic provides flu shoots to those who can’t afford them, or for those who don’t have the means to travel to get a flu shot on their own, a CHHC care-giver travels to them.
