The #HolidayGivingCampaign began in 2012, and each year until 2016, generated $500-$1,000 in items and cash donations and supported around 30 homes. In 2017, the #HolidayGivingCampaign grew into collecting over $17,000.00 in items and cash donations which made it possible for us to reach over 300 homes. The campaign held 20 different events to help collect items with our local partners between Appleton and Green Bay. With the support of our volunteers, community supporters and partners, we are planning to continue that growth into 2018. Our goal is to help these individuals and their families have a cleaner and healthier start to the holiday season and the new year. Our annual #HolidayGivingCampaign helps supports community members who struggle to purchase basic need items. The campaign typically runs from October 26th-December 30th. The most urgent items that are needed are cleaning supplies, personal care items, laundry soap, garbage bags, and paper products, etc.
Each year for our #HolidayGivingCampaign, we work to ensure that we reach those who will greatly benefit from our donations. To do this, we partner with different organizations to help connect us with those in need. Our partners for this include, ADRC of Appleton, Green Bay, and Oshkosh, St. Vincent of Appleton, Green Bay, and Oshkosh, and we work with local area schools to help reach children and their families.
